Claremont McKenna Economics Professor Briefly Quoted in NY Times

If you blink, you'll probably miss it, but never the less, Professor Marc Weidenmier of Claremont McKenna's Robert Day Economic Department, has his word about the effect of the 1907 earthquake that leveled San Francisco in Sunday's New York Times.

I've recently been wondering about what it takes to bring a community back from the brink of despair and destruction. Does it take leadership? Does it take a collective conscious? I can't tell. God willing, we'll see soon enough after Bobby Jindal's historic win in Louisiana.
